BOOKING & PAYING FOR TRIPS
Please note:
• Child fares apply to all who are still at school in 2010.
• The trip price includes any entry fees or koha for marae, church or historic home visits.
AT THE RIVERBOAT CENTRE
Payment may be made in person by cash, cheque or EFTPOS.
Please note we do not have Credit Card facilities.
POSTAL BOOKINGS
Postal bookings accompanied by a cheque made out to the Whanganui Summer Programme Trust should be sent to us at PO Box 402, Wanganui 4500. Please state clearly which trips are being booked along with the name of each participant, the age of any children and your address and contact telephone number. It is recommended that you provide a second choice of trip as some events book up quickly. You will receive confirmation of your booking by post.
TELEPHONE BOOKINGS
If you have access to on-line banking facilities, you can book your trips by telephone provided you send the payment the same day by direct credit to our bank account, no. 02 0792 0041299 00. When paying on-line, be sure to note your surname, the trip number and number of places being booked, eg Smith Trip5 x4.
Confirmation of your booking will be sent to you once we have verified that your payment has been received by our bank. We will be happy to communicate with you by e-mail if you give us your e-mail address.
WAITING LISTS
We operate a waiting list system for popular trips. No payment is required until such time as a place becomes available on the trip.
TRIP CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
We reserve the right to cancel trips due to weather or other factors beyond our control. Kapiti Island trips may be cancelled due to wind and adverse weather affecting the boat crossing. The boat operator will make this call. In the event that a trip is cancelled we will endeavour to phone you prior to the event. In such cases a full refund will be given.
If you need to withdraw from a trip let us know as early as possible. All such cancellations will be subject to a 10% deduction to cover administrative expenses. If your cancellation is received three working days before departure a full refund will be given less 10%. Refunds in cases of late notification will depend on the resale of your seat(s) to those on the waiting list.
