WHANGANUI REGIONAL MUSEUM & BIRDING WHANGANUI

A celebration of World Wetlands Day for children 8 years and older. Learn about identifying birds in Whanganui, firstly at the Museum with a close up view of local birds and their features followed by a bird watching expedition to the Whanganui River estuary with telescopes and binoculars. Children will need transport and must be accompanied by their parent/ caregiver. Bring binoculars if you can and your own afternoon tea.
