BLUE DUCK LODGES

We travel by bus across the volcanic plateau via Raurimu to Whakahoro where we join local farmer and conservationist Dan Steele at Blue Duck Lodge and go whio spotting.  We take a tour along the Kaiwhakauka Track and learn about settler history in the Mangapurua Valley, whio conservation and farm life. Bring sturdy footwear.
